City of Clarksville & Montgomery County Lighted Christmas Parade

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2023

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

The annual Lighted Christmas Parade, jointly presented by the City of Clarksville and Recreation and Montgomery County, will be held on the first Saturday in December at 5:00 p.m.  

Local businesses, civic organizations and clubs, school groups, municipal agencies, non-profits, and church groups are invited to be a part of this tradition by preparing a float or driving a fun vehicle all decked out in lights and holiday cheer!  

Spectators can enjoy the parade for free anywhere along the route which begins at Austin Peay State University and goes through Historic Downtown Clarksville. For safety purposes, spectators are asked to please stay off the roadway during the parade.

The City of Clarksville will donate its proceeds to Gold Star Families, while Montgomery County's proceeds will go to YAIPak Outreach.

The parade route will begin at APSU's campus on 8th Street, then proceed towards College and University, following the same path as in previous years. It will then circle around Public Square and the Historic Courthouse before returning to Franklin Street. Finally, it will turn onto 8th Street and head back to the campus.
